Terms of Service
Welcome to Smoqe. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Smoqe iOS application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Smoqe. You can reach us at hello@smoqe.app.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you create in Smoqe — your cooks, notes, photos, and recipes. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, sync, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not use it to train machine-learning models.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use or violation of others' rights.
- No reverse-engineering except where law permits.
- No illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
- No automated access without written consent.
- No reselling or commercial exploitation of the Service.
5. Subscriptions & in-app purchases
The core Smoqe app is free. Smoqe Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription unlocking concurrent cooks with a multi-cook Live Activity.
- Smoqe Pro Monthly — $4.99 per month.
- Smoqe Pro Annual — $39.99 per year.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep Smoqe reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features.
7. Disclaimers & cooking safety
Smoqe is a logging tool. It is not a food-safety device. Always verify internal temperatures with a calibrated probe and follow safe food-handling practices.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smoqe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. To permanently delete your account, tap Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or email privacy@smoqe.app.
