Why won't my Live Activity show on the lock screen?
Open Settings → Smoqe → Live Activities on your iPhone and make sure they're enabled. You also need iOS 17 or later. Dynamic Island requires iPhone 14 Pro or newer.
How do I add a new grill?
Go to Settings → Grills inside the app and tap the + button. Pick from pellet, offset, kamado, kettle, gas, or electric, then add a model name.
Can I switch between °F/°C and lb/kg?
Yes — Smoqe respects your device's region settings, but you can override them in Settings → Units.
Where are my cooks stored? Do they sync?
Cooks are stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud (Supabase) so you can pick up where you left off on another device signed in with the same account.
How do recipes get created?
Smoqe automatically groups completed cooks by meat type and method to build recipe cards. The more cooks you complete, the smarter the suggestions get.
I lost data after deleting the app. Can I recover it?
If you were signed in, your cooks are stored in the cloud. Reinstall the app, sign back in, and your library will sync down.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. You can also email privacy@smoqe.app to request deletion.
